put it away yet?

We moved house on Friday last week.

There are still suitcases full of clothes and boxes of books to be unpacked. I've done the kitchen and 50% of the clothes.

But I am just so tired now. I have 4 dcs ( from 8 - 11 months) and they need attention too.

Dh is working ft and had done a fair bit but came home on Mon and said nothing had been done.

Aargh. Does everyone else unpack super fast and efficiently?

Don't be so hard on yourself. Unpack as you go. There's no rush and with 4 kids to look after I'm surprised you are still awake.

We moved in 14 years ago - there's still an unpacked box lurking under the stairs

we moved in 5 years ago, the shed is half full of unpacked boxes - god knows whats out there

We moved 6 years ago & have half a garage full of unpacked boxes. Don't stress about it, use this time to think about what you really need & give away/ recycle the rest.

Don't unpack it. If you haven't used it in a year, recycle , bin or sell. Think of it as decluttering. I had boxes in my Mum's house until I was on my late 30s.
