oooh nutella I dont buy it or end up spooning it out of the jar and there is none left for the children.......

CaptainJamesTKirk · 27/07/2013 17:27

Try then a nutella hot chocolate...

Heat a mug of milk in the microwave and stir in 2 teaspoons of nutella. You will not be disappointed!

meditrina · 27/07/2013 17:30

It's stuffed with palm oil.

Anyone know of a version (other than Green and Blacks) that isn't so hostile to orangs?

comedycentral · 27/07/2013 17:31

Yanbu! mmmm

Forgetfulmog · 27/07/2013 17:37

I usually spoon it out of the jar, but I had it on a slice of bread the other day. Mmmm!

No, Skippy peanut butter is far superior.

Teamjavert · 27/07/2013 17:42

It's nice, but a teaspoon or two is quite enough IMHO.

CooEeeEldridge · 27/07/2013 17:43

Had a Nuttela Calzone recently. Next level.

VitoCorleone · 27/07/2013 17:45

I find it too sickly if I eat any more than that, and I love chocolate and hazelnuts.

footphobic · 27/07/2013 18:26

No..I just made a home made frappucino. That was the best thing ever! Wink

chelsbells · 27/07/2013 18:26

Nutella and banana pancakes are a favourite in our house! And DH often has a spoonful of Nutella before bed..! However tonight I will be trying the hot chocolate... Sounds right up my street, providing there's some left in the jar! Grin

Tiredmumno1 · 27/07/2013 18:27

Likesshinythings · 27/07/2013 18:27

You should try this www.nigella.com/recipes/view/nutella-cheesecake
It is amazing (and zero effort)

Viviennemary · 27/07/2013 18:27

I can't have it in the house. It's too nice.

Very many years ago, before Nutella was known in the UK, I was a student in Germany. I looked after a small boy, who loved Nutella. He called it Mutella.
I was always very surprised that it was available for breakfast, due to family curcumstances. Granny made jam from fruits growing in the garden etc. etc.
I think it is the most dire stuff.

squoosh · 27/07/2013 18:31

Haven't had Nutella in ages, 'tis lovely though.

Not a fan of that icky Lotus spread though.

1919 · 27/07/2013 18:33

I love chocolate and hazelnuts but Nutella tastes of nothing but icing sugar to me. Far, far too sweet and sickly.

MerrilyWatkins · 27/07/2013 18:35

I didn't know about the palm oil! I hate the stuff but youngest daughter loves it. Off to google alternatives.

MikeLitoris · 27/07/2013 18:39

Try baking some choc fairy cakes. Use a apple corer to take out the middle and fill with nutella. Top off with nutella butter cream and some chopped hazel nuts

AMAZING!

pigletmania · 27/07/2013 18:43

It is the food of gods

NettoSuperstar · 27/07/2013 18:46

I don't like it at all, even the smell of it makes me leave the room.
I accept I am weird.
