to say "no" to a BBQ tonight

We had a bbq last Friday evening, since then we had on eon Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and we are going to 2 tomorrow and 1 on Sunday. AIBU to say "No" tonight, despite teh kids wanting one. I've been in work and although I have all the stuff here I just can't be bothered lighting it and then cleaning it again. I have offered to cook sausages. chicken wings and burgers in the George Foreman pleads to be told IANBU

YANBU. Novelty has worn off here too. BBQs ain't 'all that'.

Definitely not. You can have too much of a good thing! Once a week is enough ;)

How old are the kids? Can one of them clean the BBQ if you do it?

They are probably old enough to clean it, and my 13yo has offered to cook it, but I'd rather not get food poisoning ! I'm ashamed to admit that I've given in, providing they tidy their bedrooms first.

Get them to clean it!

I am fucking sick of bbq food.

I have now declared a bbq the most overrated summer thing. Except for the beach.

Yanbu-I hate bbq. Had 4 in the past couple of weeks. I am over them.Until the next good summer-so see you all in 5 years.
