Celebrity Baby Photo Money

When I think about the amount of money that is paid to get a picture of the baby, (wedding, or anything else) is amazes me.

When there are so many starving babies/children in the world...hard to imagine.

I think if any celebrity gets paid, half of the money should go towards a charity.

Think of the amount of money the Royal Baby would of got for the first baby photo...That amount could of saved so many lives, and helped so many families.

One photo of a new life, will give a new life to someone else...

Living in the West, even on a modest income, you are still more privileged that 95% of the world's population.

Should you be duty bound to give some of your income to the starving babies?

The royals don't get paid for wedding/baby photos etc.

I can just see the Queen on the blower haggling over payment, the Daily Mail in one ear and the Sunday People in the other, 'Is that one's best offer?'

One of the many reasons I think the Royals still have class is because they aren't whoring themselves out to prurient media.

And the celebrities work for their fame, and getting paid for photos is part of that work. We can debate the morality of someone getting paid an absolute fortune for kicking a football well, or miming well, but still it's work. Would you like all well-paid people to donate half their money (presumably net, not gross) to charity as well? How do you know they don't?
