Is it so you keep them?

And at what age do they stop being adorable in their sleep?

Sparklingbrook · 24/07/2013 13:14

Because they are quiet. Wink Grin

HamwidgeAlive · 24/07/2013 13:15

DS is 2.5 and still adorable in his sleep!

JollyHolidayGiant · 24/07/2013 13:15

Mine's 27mo and still utterly gorgeo

JollyHolidayGiant · 24/07/2013 13:16

Mine's 27mo and still utterly gorgeous in his sleep. I just want to snuggle him.

Sorry, posted too soon first time!

WaitMonkey · 24/07/2013 13:16

What Sparkling said. Smile

Sparklingbrook · 24/07/2013 13:17

Exactly Wait, they don't need anything when they are asleep.

My 11 year old is very cute when he's asleep still-and quiet. Smile

Caramelbutthorn · 24/07/2013 13:18

My 8 month old is so gorgeous when asleep I find it hard to not go pick him up for a cuddle. #suchabadmum

Shrugged · 24/07/2013 13:21

Because they are all tranquil and not hanging off you wanting something they don't have the vocabulary to explain. Because of the way their eyelashes look when they are fanned down in their cheeks. And if there is a more adorable sight than a completely relaxed sleeping baby with his/her arms up over her head, I've yet to see it...

mumofthemonsters808 · 24/07/2013 13:23

I think all children are adorable when asleep, I still watch my 11 year old so I'm not sure at what age it goes. It's something to do with the peace and calmness, and general feeling of resting that I like. I often comment to my OH that I love our house when it is shutdown mode he does not know what I'm talking about.

JollyHolidayGiant · 24/07/2013 13:24

Oh, I know that feeling shrug.

DS: Want the red car
Me: Which red car?
DS: Red car
Me: Your ride on red car
DS: No, red car!
Me: Lightning McQueen?
DS: No. MY RED CAR
Me: Which red car?
DS: Like Lightning McQueen
Me: Lightning McQueen?
DS: NO! My red car LIKE Lightning McQueen
Me: Do you want a biscuit instead?

OKnotOK · 24/07/2013 13:29

Because they are so rounded and squidgy, and their skin still glows.

And as mentioned before...they are quiet!! Grin

Ezio · 24/07/2013 13:29

Because when they are asleep, its the only time you dont wish you got a dog instead.

My DD is 6 and adorable when asleep, when shes awake though..............

TooExtraImmatureCheddar · 24/07/2013 14:02

Because they aren't screaming like a banshee at the mere thought of lying down in their cot. I'm still traumatised by last night's bedtime.

Justforlaughs · 24/07/2013 14:05

My oldest is 20 and he's still lovely when he's sleeping!
As for the youngest, I could sit and watch her sleep all night

MillionPramMiles · 24/07/2013 14:08

Because they're quiet and not screaming and you can eat cake and watch Lewis in peace. The only pictures I have of my dd from 0-6 months is of her sleeping. The rest of the time she was screaming.

GobblersKnob · 24/07/2013 14:11

Mr Minchin

BeautifullyBurnt · 24/07/2013 14:12

My little brother (who's not so little anymore a 6 foot and change 15 year old Ruby player) is STILL adorable when he's asleep!

RobinSparkles · 24/07/2013 14:17

My six year old still looks adorable when she's sleeping. Gob open, dribbling. Sooo cute :o.

GobblersKnob, I used to sing that to DD2 when she was a tiny baby (not the sweary bits just the beginning). She was a nightmare sleeper! :o

FrussoHathor · 24/07/2013 14:17

shrugged it's the baby sleeping on belly with arms folded under chin. Wink

ezio have dog too, dog is not cute when asleep, he snores and farts.

gobblersknob I love that song, has been my family theme tune since dd2. I particularly like the dingo bit.

My DD sleeps with her hands curled up either side of her face and it's so cute I can't even bear it. There's a picture on my profile.

RobinSparkles · 24/07/2013 14:23

Aww, Hoppus she is gorgeous. You just want to squeeze her!

Thurlow · 24/07/2013 14:25

Butter wouldn't melt when they are asleep, and they tend to go a bit paler, such a beautiful complexion! Yes, just gorgeous.

Last night DD hit her head before bedtime so I had to wake her a few times to check on her. I brought her into my room so the light and change of scenery would wake her. She climbed off the bed, grabbed my hand, and dragged me purposefully back to her room where she just stared up at me with a mournful, accusing look and pointed at her cot Grin

FrussoHathor · 24/07/2013 14:27

hoppus that is seriously cute

They sleep? When?

Longdistance · 24/07/2013 14:55

My 2 yo dd is cute when she's asleep. She comes into the bedroom at 4am, and comes to snuggle next to me. She looks like butter wouldn't melt. She's got the longest eyelashes ever.
