So we had a BBQ this weekend and had a couple of friends staying over. It's true, the weather wasn't as blazing hot as it was last week, but it was by no means cold (slightly overcast on Saturday, but still hitting around 25/26 degrees). Friends had only brought mini skirts and no cardigans or jackets. The weather was exactly as forecast btw, so not unexpected. Oh, and I offered to lend them jumpers/coats/jackets/blankets but was turned down.
Instead, friends spent all weekend complaining how cold and rubbish it is in the North of England, and how freezing and cold they were. This is despite the rest of the guests at the BBQ saying it was nice not to be in the strong sun all day for once, especially as there were a lot of younger children there they wanted to keep out of the sun.
AIBU to think that if you're naturally cold-blooded you should check the forecast and bring a jumper, and also it's rude to complain about the host's town/county and say it's rubbish all the time just because it's a couple of degrees colder than it is further south?

AIBU?
that my friends wouldn't shut up about being "cold" all weekend?
