About my swollen hand?

Folding OH's shorts on Sunday and whacked the back of my hand really hard with the metal tie thing on the bottom of his shorts.

It's still really swollen and the bruise has not yet come out. It is quite painful and difficult to hold heavy things.

OH says I need to go to A&E or the Drs - should this have gone down by now?

I have a busy weekend and don't want to waste the Drs time?

I would suggest the doctors, or a minor injuries unit if you have one nearby. If it's still swollen I think it needs to be looked at

Injuries like that can take a few weeks to heal but no harm in getting it checked out since you're worried go ahead.

My gp was useless though. I dropped boiling water from baby flask i hadn't closed it i was half asleep newborn with me. the entire back of my hand scorched. It was swollen and nasty looking, and the pain the pain was unimaginable. But I tolerated it cleaned it often until new skin grew back, When I saw gp he wasn't helpful said i will have lifelong scar. I thought u idiot should be consoling me. Hence i rarely rely on docs if I'm desperate its a&e otherwise pharmacy.

I would check with your GP, I'd also get some arnica cream to bring out the bruise. I hope you are okay.
