I probably am, but I'm pissed off!

After seeing a dress in the round up this week I took the plunge and ordered it, from oasis. I ordered it yesterday afternoon and paid for next day delivery. I recieved an e-mail telling me they would email when it had been dispatched and I could track it when it had.

I've had no email, I've searched around their FAQ's and found a space to enter my order number and postcode and if the item has been dispatched they would be able to track it, it says my order doesnt exsit, which I'm assuming means it hasnt been dispatched.

I'm so pissed off the dress was meant to be to wear out tomorrow night. I was really excited about going for a completely new look and not sticking to the uniform of jeans, t-shirt and baby sick/snot!

I've e-mailed them and havent heard anything back and I've even tweeted them and not heard anything from them either. i just want to pick up the phone and talk to someone, have some reassurance my item is on the way, but thats not how they work.

I know there are worse things going on in the world, but I'm just feeling so completely disappointed right now. I know its stupid but it was something to look forward to after a crap few months.

go on, tell me how 1st world this is and how utterly unreasonable I'm being expecting a reply within a couple of hours. I can take it!

What time did u order it?

I work for an internet shopping firm and if the order goes thru after a certain time it won't be processed til the following day which means the tea king number won't be generated til the confirm the order s scanned out of their picking and packing process.

Not unreasonable. You should receive what you paid for.

The fact that you got a confirmation email says the problem is with them. Can you check to see if money has gone from your account?

it was yesterday afternoon, I recieved the order confirmation at 3.52 so well within the business hours they state.

Its says the money wont be taken from the account until the item is dispatched and I cant check the account as its our joint one and I dont know the login details (I could find them, but it would take a long time as they are in the back of beyond in the office!)

Check their next day cut off, ours is 4pm but in reality because of how orders are processed and converted anything after about 330 is lucky to get processed.

Do they have a "my account" section where u can see n order history?

They should still have a phone number for their customer services though, I would keep chasing

it just says as long as an order is placed within standard store opening times, which I would assume to be 6pm maybe 5pm, but I still ordered before then.

Oooh They just tweeted me back! Hopefully they will let me know what's going on!

Yanbu ! I had this and was fucking furious!
Paid for next day delivery and yodel eventually rocked up with it a week later!
There was no customer service number just a email. I had to go out and buy a replacement. Sent it all back and hot refund for next day delivery. ARSES!

they say they are 'looking in to it' I'm not holding out much hope. Its a shame, first time I ordered from them too.

Hmm, I got an email saying there had been an error and my item is due for dispatch tonight for delivery tomorrow. They said they were very sorry and said if I asked they would refund the delivery charge. Hmm

I told them refunding the charge was the least they could do and I was very disappointed in the service and not being able to speak to someone.

We'll see what happens, we were hoping to leave at 9am but can put it off till 10 at the latest. Fingers crossed it gets to us on time!
