To call the police?

A policeman got on the bus I was using about 30 mins ago looking for an 98 year old woman with dementia who was last seen on a bus in our area. She wasn't on the bus, but when I disembarked at the bus station, there was an old lady there just sat. From the bus stand she was sat at, there is only 2 services that go from there, and about 4 buses came and went and she got on none of them. Also, it's a hot Spanish summer here and the lady had a winter coat on, which makes me think about the dementia bit. I want to call the police incase it's her, but it could be just any old lady.

Of course you should call the police!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If it's not her then nothing lost, but if it is and you didn't bother....

ring them or find a police person walking about and ask them to check description...it can't hurt.

Of course you should call, don't delay. No harm done if it isn't her.

Maybe sit with her and make conversation, see how she reacts etc. Then call the police whilst still near her incase she just wanders off

Goodness sake, just call them and explain - they're not going to come up in Black Marias and throw her in the back of one.

Call them? Or go and talk to her?

Fakebook · 16/07/2013 11:30

Call the police! Better be wrong than be right and not do anything!

PumpkinPie2013 · 16/07/2013 11:48

Definitely call them. They won't mind checking and would rather it was nothing than not be able to check.

Seriously do you need to ask?
