I think theyre filming the new series now.

i am positive i read the new ones wont be shown until next year

Half the cast were tied up with The Hobbit, so they weren't able to film until this year.
The current re-run is to remind us all of the cliff-hanger

I must admit that even though I've seen it before, I'm as transfixed as ever.

New series starts in November I have heard, same weekend as the Dr Who 50th programme. I won't be moving my bum off the sofa.

These are repeats. They have not even finished filming series 3 yet according to Mark Gattiss.

The end of the last one showed him hiding behind a tree when watson was at the grave. He clearly had the help of that dna woman. Can't wait for it to be back

TBH, anyone who has read The Empty House would have guessed that he didn't really die. I expect that's why they didn't leave it as a "did he, didn't he?" cliffhanger, and showed him at the end. Now we just have to guess how he did it!

No airing date has been released for the 3rd series yet, it's likely to be around New Year as they've only filmed 2 of the 3 episodes so far and it will probably be another month or two before they can film the third episode as both Martin and Beneict have other filming commitments.

There were clues in last night's episode as to the title of the 3rd episode of the 3rd series. If you watch with subtitles on random letters were flashed up to spell a word, last night was "His".

I've now seen one episode of Sherlock. Twice

He squeezed the tennis ball in his armpit to slow his heart rate enough to be pronounced dead and the bouncing ball in the lab will have had something to do with his jump/landing from what I remember of mine and the OHs theories... Can't wait to find out :D

I had a load of theories when the final episode was aired, but have forgotten them all. Stephen Moffatt says there is a clue in plain sight that as far as he is aware no one has spotted, so I assume he isn't talking about the 'obvious' stuff like the ball, Morgue Molly, the lorry, Watson being hit by the bike and missing the actual impact etc.

I watched the repeat of the 'Woman' episode last night, but had forgotten my previous theories about how the government actually worked the aborted 'Coventry' bombed flight bluff. I know they acquired dead bodies, but how do you actually go about stealing corpses, assuming they couldn't all be unclaimed? The two little girls said no one let them see their dead granddad, and one man said what was in the urn wasn't human ash, so are we to assume the government was stealing bodies from funeral homes and crematoria? And what about the body found in the boot of the car that was apparently supposed to be on an earlier German fake bombed flight...?

Yep, pretty sure it starts in January. Nice to watch old ones anyway though isn't it?
