To give swim shorts as a gift?

DD's teacher is leaving for a school in the Carribean. I wanted to give a t shirt and swim shorts, note shorts, as in longish, finishing a bit above the knee, not a Speedo! DH says he wouldn't give a female teacher a swim suit so I can't give swim shorts to a man 18 years my junior as a gift fro Dd! I'm not asking to see them on him, just thought it was a useful present!

Hmmm, men are harder to buy for full stop , but I can see your DHs POV - would be VERY odd for a female teacher to be gifted swimwear from a parent.

stick with T shirt - maybe add hat?

I think it would be a nice present and appropriate for where he is going
