is called a froglet? Really?? I've never heard of a froglet, but it was on the wall at my DD's new school, when she went for her visit yesterday. Did anyone know this, or have they just made it up? Grin I even asked the teacher and was told that it was true so it must be

Technically a baby frog is a tadpole.

But tadpoles, when they grow some legs but still have a tail, are called froglets. Almost an adolescent phase, rather than a baby.

I might start calling my DC froglets. Especially when they are adolescents Grin

Frog Spawn
Tadpole
Tadpole with legs (I think)
Froglet or Young Frog
Frog

If my memory serves me correctly from reading nephews school book, in my day it was spawn/tadpole/frog

I'm so bored, I googled it! Grin
