Seems like all retailers think I am ! Looking for a pack of "ruffle" frilly socks for dd and can hardly get a pair of normal frilly ones let alone ruffle . Kids can have bigger shoe size than a 12 I mean she is only a 2 it's not like shes a 5 or 6 ffs !!

primark?

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/07/2013 21:16

M&S do lovely little frilly ones in the ladies' section, but they'd probably be too big. Topshop do them do.

ALittleBitOfMagic · 08/07/2013 21:16

Woops didn't mean that to be so ranty !! Blush

these are exactly what I am looking for but only go up to a 12Angry

buy some lace and sew it on yourself?

Trills · 08/07/2013 21:17

Does your 8yr old DD want frilly socks too?

YANBU to want them but YABU to expect shops to necessarily sell everything that you want...

StepAwayFromTheEcclesCakes · 08/07/2013 21:17

on a sock obviously... not you Blush

ihatethecold · 08/07/2013 21:22

Morrisons have some

MoveItMoveIt · 08/07/2013 21:24

Boyes sell frilly socks. If not I second the idea of sewing the lace/ruffles onto a plain pair of socks.

steppemum · 08/07/2013 21:25

Asda
dd has them, she is size 2. The size is 12 1/2 - 3 1/2

ClaraOswald · 08/07/2013 21:25

Mothercare go up to 3 1/2

brilliantwhite · 08/07/2013 21:30

yabu , they are cute on a toddler , bit babyish on an 8 yr old.

Itsjustafleshwound · 08/07/2013 21:31

Sainsburys clothing

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/07/2013 21:32

My dd wears them - she's 18! :)

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 08/07/2013 21:32

She wears them with high heels and bodycon, if that makes a difference. :)

whatsonyourplate · 08/07/2013 21:44

Have you tried tesco? Got my did a 5 pack cos she needed some for a dance show but she won?t wear them now.

OctopusWrangler · 08/07/2013 22:15

If your daughter wants them no you're not. If she doesn't yes you are.

suchawimp · 08/07/2013 22:16

Tesco used to do them - got some for myself when I was dressed up as Dorothy - fitted an adult 5!

brilliantwhite · 09/07/2013 20:54

i take it all back i went into town today and saw loads of teenage girls wearing them , also saw them for sale in topshop.

NeoMaxiZoomDweebie · 09/07/2013 21:25

I got some nice ones in Primark....or Topshop can be good too!

noisytoys · 10/07/2013 10:00

Most things like that look adorable on a toddler, become babyish for older children and come back in fashion for older teenagers. I think YABU because your DD will probably see them as babyish

NeoMaxiZoomDweebie · 10/07/2013 10:01

My DD is 8 Noisy and she knows they're fashionable.

curlew · 10/07/2013 10:04

Does your dd want frilly socks? Do check.....

sonlypuppyfat · 10/07/2013 19:48

My DD is 12 and her and her older friends all really trendy wear frilly socks we got them from Primark

softlysoftly · 10/07/2013 19:55

Ruffly frilly sock things and leggings with ruffled bottoms always make me think of little prancing show ponies, generally of the cob variety.
