The date is 18/08, AIBU in throwing it away?

Did I forget to mention it's a yoghurt from last year?

Errrrr Envy throw it away that's nearly a year old!

LastTangoInDevonshire · 08/07/2013 18:02

Nah - just pour of the watery stuff that's on top, and enjoy ! Grin

Eleven months? It will be walking soon! Just leave it in the fridge and it will climb out on its own.

MrsHoarder · 08/07/2013 18:04

How?

Could you use it to kill the Vikings? Like a cure for thrush but more hard core...

Scholes34 · 08/07/2013 18:05

You can tell if a yoghurt's gone off. The sell-by date can be quite irrelevant. You could be pushing it though if it's 11 months past its sell-by date, but just taste it and see.

Lol. Glad to hear other people have some shocking things lurking in the back of their fridge.

Paint some terracotta plant pots with it, or a bit of new stone wall, great for 'ageing' stone and pots.

In my defence, it was in our garage fridge which we only normally use for drinks in the summer.

The (Greek) yogurt is now solid. I'm usually pretty lax with dates on yogurts, but this is waaaaaaaaaaay past anything I'd eat!
