I'm in my kitchen, cooking tea, watching Andy Murray play tennis courtesy of my iPad and BBC iplayer. Grin

Myliferocks · 03/07/2013 17:04

Our local Asda has free wifi now. You quite often see people sat at the entranceway while family members shop!

GiveMumABreak forget that, he's finally woken up and realised he's supposed to be playing tennis.
You're welcome to come round.

I'm doing exactly the same Grin except I'm watching on my iPad and MN-ing on my iPhone. Multitasking is so much fun!

Tee2072 · 03/07/2013 17:57

I was just using my Fire to look at a recipe while also reading MN on my phone while making dinner.

I love the future.

But where's my replicator and my transporter?

Myliferocks · 10/07/2013 16:35

I had the joys on Sunday of watching the German grand prix on the tv and the Wimbledon final on my iPad.
I almost cried with enjoyment!

My son goes to school on the internet. A British School. And we still get to live in Italy. Without having to go to Italian school.

((((((((hugs technology)))))))))

And I get google translate to do the heavey lifting of translations from Italian to English so all I have to do is fiddle and perfect.

((((((((kisses technology)))))))))

And the Paprika app on my iPad has made cooking so much easier cos nor ally I can't find a recipie in one of my books whe I need it. The Paper and Knowmia apps turn my iPad into an interactive whitbbard with my students.

(((((((((makes goo goo eyes at technology)))))))

Kepp jetpacks, this is way better than anything I was expecting when I got my first BBC computer back in the early 80s.

I can drive my DC to othe replaces now as I can go online and look at maps and street views so I definitely know where I am going.
I have far more confidence getting to places!
