Another trip to a so called farm park (i do not call a hand full of chickens cows sheep and goats a farm park) Is it just me but all mums that have been to this farm park said how good it was and i though ok was going a bit over the top. I would like to show dd what farmers do and how they do it and non of the farm parks i have been to seem to do this they charge a fortune for a play ground and not much more.
Rant now over.

You want a farm then not a farm park ,the clue is in the name it's a park with a farm theme .

The thing is, a working farm is not the best environment for little ones really. Its stinky (you may not mind this) and dangerous and they may see things they don't like. A local "working" farm that doubles as a training centre for people who are deaf/have learning difficulties does have an open day during lambing but make no apologies about it being a working farm and you may just tread in a pile of poo or not see very much. Just enjoy the petting zoo! Alternatively ask to visit a battery farm - they'll never eat battery eggs again!

I think its meant to be good if you're somewhere between 1 and 7 years old. 35 year old parents just have to suck it up.
