It seems like it's the new fad in flavours for everything from crisps to sandwich spread.

I guess I like it, but I'm getting a bit bored with it. Obviously, I don't have to eat it, but it seems to be the main alternative flavour option for so many things, now.

Really? I mean - seriously?

For starters it is not in any way 'new'. Next - how can it be worse than 'vomit mixed with salad cream' Sandwich Spread? And yes, thirdly, you really don't have to eat it!

I think the new sweet chilli is now salted caramel (not that I'm complaining)

YANBU.
I'm fed up of seeing the word chilli and getting ready for something tasty, only to find something sweetish and entirely devoid of any chilli heat. Angry

I don't mind if it actually tastes like chilli and not sweet sugary crap.

Most sweet chilli things just taste of sweet and nothing else.

When walkers sweet chilli sensations first came out I used to eat the whole big bag by myself for comfort.

I like it sometimes, and I agree that the sugary crap versions are awful, but it just seems to be everywhere.

It's just a fad, I hope.

I kind of know what you mean though Katy It is frustrating when, for example I am at work today and have just popped out to get my lunch and although I cant see an abundance of sweet chilli, it would be nice to have a choice thart isnt basically swet chilli, plain ham or tuna salad. (looks Angry at the M&S sandwich counter)

drDumbass That's exactly what I mean! I grab sandwiches for lunch a lot and it seems to be the only "other" option!

Agree about the salted caramel. Normal caramel is fine people!

THere is quite a bit of Jerk stuff here too
