to think that all classes should have a playtime - so why doesn't this class?

Class I'm at today is weird. So I asked when the class have playtime.

"We don't have playtime" said the TA.

That's a bit strange - but then it transpires the teacher "went on a course" and came across this theory of working all morning.

The rest of the school have a playtime though. But this class don't.

I've been able to pop out to the toilet but my immediate thought was AIBU.

It's a year 2 class BTW in an academy. I just don't see how a school can do this.

It's a bit weird but there's no law in it. It is true that children work better before lunch, though. Our school had six periods before lunch break and only 2 afterwards.

We did have a morning break but it was barely 10 minutes long once you'd got from class to the playground and back inside again ready for lessons to start.
