I found a really lovely toy at a bargain price on a facebook sellers page. Contacted seller who agreed to sell it to me. About to collect but have just had a mess saying they have an ebay bid on it so can't now sell it to me.

Yanbu, it's very annoying! Unfortunately that's just what it's like with Facebook selling. It's got it's pros and cons

Ask them for the ebay reference so you can bid.

YANBU - if they agreed the sale before there was a bid on eBay, then they should have pulled the listing immediately. But if there was already a bid, then the listing can't be dropped. Sounds like they're just trying to get the biggest ££ they can Hmm
