Constant oooerrr ing really gets on my wick.
Every comment no matter how innocuous being picked up on...I want to scream
Its surely time to grow out of this mid 40s..
Is it worth me getting this stressed

Respond in kind or pretend not to understand
"I thought you liked big ones?!"
"Why? Your penis is fairly average."

"Thats what she said!"
"Thats what who said to who?"

BeauNidle · 17/06/2013 17:12

I love a double entendre me. Especially in serious meetings. Or funerals.

minouminou · 17/06/2013 17:12

I love it!

(snurk).

However, if it was constantly derailing everyday, functional, necessary convos and exchanges, I would go off it stat!

I'm the same about someone who derails serious conversations with stupid puns on the words involved. It smacks of attention-seeking and "I don't really get what you're on about, so, hey.....let's talk about ME!!"

BeauNidle · 17/06/2013 17:15

OP You are going to have to come down hard on him tonight.

minouminou · 17/06/2013 17:16

Ha ha! I just did a Sid James laugher at that!!!

minouminou · 17/06/2013 17:17

Don't spare the rod, OP.

BeauNidle · 17/06/2013 17:18

Lol
You are going to have to open up to him

waaaaaaaaaaaahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Bet you wish you never started this.

usualsuspect · 17/06/2013 17:19

Don't beat about the bush, just give it to him straight.

minouminou · 17/06/2013 17:19

I wonder how long we can keep it up....

KatoPotato · 17/06/2013 17:19

Belter at work today

'There's a fine line between anal and OCD...'

Oh yes, I sniggered.

holstenlips · 17/06/2013 17:23

minouminou · 17/06/2013 17:25

I love dodgy spoonerisms, too.

The Iranian election has had me sniggering quite a bit of late.

LandaMc · 17/06/2013 17:29

Tell him that it's not just childish, it's now become really boring and makes him seem very unattractive. and that every time he does it, it seriously annoys you and an annoyed wife is not fun to have around!

The only person I've met who behaved like that was 18 and a heavy drug user!

GilmoursPillow · 17/06/2013 17:30

I hate double entendres when they're spoken, they seem really stupid, but the written ones on this thread have had me sniggering into my whiskey. Grin

Yes, it's a large one....

minouminou · 17/06/2013 17:31

Four fingers, Gilmours?

holstenlips · 17/06/2013 20:25

Just given him a bag of nuts ooerrrr

OP posts:
GilmoursPillow · 18/06/2013 04:32

snort minou Grin

You made me spray all over the keyboard.

LuisSuarezTeeth · 18/06/2013 06:30

On a bad dayi it's very annoying. I find that absolute silence and the "tumbleweed" moment works when all else fails. Think Shooting Stars Grin
