To be fed up with Nintendo?

We have a perfectly good Wii and a ds and a dsi in this house. However loads of their new games are now only for the Wii u or the 3ds.

So of course dd would like new consoles.

I get that technology changes, etc. I just wish they could make their new releases in both versions for a bit longer. Like the next ten years. Grin

DS has a 3DS, an absolutely VITAL piece of kit given that the new MarioKart only came out on 3DS. Hmm
It is the same as his original DS as he dislikes the 3D bit so keeps it switched off (we have a parental timer on it anyway but he never uses it) Therefore it is only a vehicle for the newer games rather than a vast improvement in capability.

i have a 3ds xl and love it mainly for luigi's mansion, i don,t have the 3d on either makes my eyesight even more squiffy Smile
ds3 nearly 22 Shock has had all the ds consoles ever made and will never part with any of them or the games either Grin

Well I've ordered the 3ds xl from Tesco as it was £117 which seemed like a good price.

I do actually have old Sega consoles from my youth. Good old Sonic on the MasterSystem......my parents never bought me a MegaDrive.

Now most importantly - can I order Animal Crossing online anywhere and get it delivered on Friday or do I need to actually visit a shop?

At least Nintendo have made the Wii U backwards compatible so you can play all your old games on it, unlike the PS4 and XBox 1 which you will have to spend £££££s on. And they haven't put one time activation codes on their games so you can't buy pre owned, again unlike the other two!

"Unlike the other two" - nope, only xbox have done that... Grin
