Well am I?

It had a great big notice saying "stop me and buy one" and so I did. I frantically waved my arms and the van came a stop.

Grumpy man said served up ice creams for me and DD then as I paid said "I'm not a bl**dy taxi cab darling you can't just wave me down like that". I told him not to bother stopping then and to take his sign out of his window.

All I wanted was a lovely big ice cream with a flake and maybe a smile and along came an ice cream van.

Humph

"Stop me and buy one at your peril" more apt.

wannabedomesticgoddess · 09/06/2013 21:56

Weird.

Why have the sign if he doesnt want to stop.

pipsqueakz · 09/06/2013 21:58

YANBU at all all you wanted was an ice cream with a smile! Customer service had got crap. Silly over priced ice cream man is take my custom to the supermarket much cheaper. But downfall they don't sell 99 with a flake. But THAT ice cream man has just lost himself a customer.

I chased down an ice cream van the other week.

I had been waiting hours and saw it turn into street and try drive straight out! So I ran after it.

I got my oyster with chocolate sauce and nuts. I was happy

Our ice cream man parks right outside my house over my drive so my dc's pretty much ALWAYS ask for an ice cream. Could he be anymore obvious.

We only see an ice cream van round here once in a blue moon; the driver is a right cruel bastard though and barely sounds his horn before roaring off at speed, leaving a trail of desperate children clutching pound coins. How he makes any money is beyond me!

BuntyPenfold · 10/06/2013 00:06

A van turns in here occasionally but is gone faster than Parcelforce.

I have never been quick enough to get an ice cream.

I wonder how he makes money too FlyingFig.

I've been waving them down for years, I thought you were supposed to Blush
