To just want to fucking sleep

So my dd (9mo) sleeps well, which is great, I don't anymore which isn't.

I don't know why I need to pee so much in the night, and even if I don't, things conspire against me such as dh snoring.

Even right now, I'm abroad with dd in a lovely hotel and there are 3 girls talking shrieking right outside my window. I could cry. I would ask them to be quiet but they are pissed and I don't know if that would make it worse so I'm lying here wishing I was asleep.

The last time I was in a hotel there was a wedding that went on until 1.30 in the morning. Confused

Oh we'll, at least there's MN and I'm off to the new ABBA museum tomorrow Grin

Might be worth calling down to the front desk, maybe they can move the girls along for you. I totally empathize btw, my DH snore like a train. My dad said he could hear him upstairs last time we visited.

I make encourage dp to use asonor for the snoring. It does work, tho not as satisfying as elbowing him in the head.

COCKadoodledooo · 06/06/2013 05:08

When dh eventually stopped snoring tonight I had a major coughing fit and had to get up for ventolin and sudafed. I now have my usual post meds headache and am swearing at the fricking chirpy cheerful bastard dawn chorus! I have a pig of a day coming up at work and dh will expect me to be sociable this evening (it is our wedding anniversary tbf) when all I'll want is an early night. By myself.
Grump and harrumph.

You have my sympathy op. Not pg again are you? It's the only time in my life I've had to get up more than once a night to pee..

Stinkyminkymoo · 06/06/2013 07:00

No! Def not pg again! They got moved on by the police thank god so eventually got to sleep. The other issue is that at 3.30 here, it isn't dark it's twighlighty no, not in the vampire sense! so quite disorienting!

Oh stinky it sounds like you are in Stockholm, it is student part high season at the moment so the town if full of drunk screaming 19 year olds. Tonight shouldn't be too bad because it is the national day so no student parties, tomorrow will probably be a noisy night again :(

I'd ask the hotel for black out blindes, we live in Stockholm and I wouldn't consider trying to sleep without them at this time of year. A dark blanket works just as well :)

Get some earplugs! The wax ones are brilliant.
