I went to stay at my DPs last night. During the night his DC became ill and started vomiting. DP was also running a really high temp all night/this morning.

We had planned for me to stay over there tonight as well and to come home Monday afternoon.

BUT I packed my bags and bailed because I am 14wks pregnant and don't want to be ill.

WIBU?

Yanbu

How come you don't live together?

trackies · 02/06/2013 16:41

YANBU - i used to avoid sick people all the time when preg. Immune system during pregnancy is compromised so i used to catch everything and then be ill for ages, not allowed to take most meds.

Various reasons we don't live together; existing DC (his and mine), length of relationship (12 months - pg was unexpected), location of jobs, finances etc.

I probably would have kept away from a house with a stomach virus.

I bailed first thing this morning, within 30 mins of waking up.

Not at all. Not even just when pregnant.

My husband got a stomach bug recently and me and the baby went to my Mum's until it was safe.
