Dd has just asked to see dora live for her birthday treat. So I duly log on to see prices & availability, great, it's on at Bradford at the end of June which is near us and only a week before her birthday (she will be 7 and is still a big Dora fan) that's perfect. Until I look at the times. It's only on on Tuesday and Wednesday, in term time, at 10am,1pm or 4pm. Inspired. Whose bright idea was it to have daytime performances in term time for a show whose audience consists of a large number of school age children? Appreciate the need for a daytime performance for preschoolers but surely they could have made it 5pm to allow school kids to go?

Timing does sound silly
I guess if she really wants to go she will have to miss school
