He won't let me buy our 11 week puppy a pink tutu. This one to be precise.

I've got three sons, not having any more children and this is my only chance to do the whole pink princess thing.

He's just a meany pants.

Leave him. That's unreasonable behaviour.

eosmum · 01/06/2013 12:19

Tell him its either the dog or one of the DSs his choice.

cozietoesie · 01/06/2013 12:20

On the other hand, why not try him on \link{http://www.petboutiqueuk.com/pink-bedtime-dogs-pyjamas-675-p.asp\these}

BrokenBanana · 01/06/2013 12:20

Just get it anyway, you don't need his permission!

BrokenBanana · 01/06/2013 12:21

What sort of puppy have you got? I'd give anything for a girl puppy I could princess up!

LegoAcupuncture · 01/06/2013 12:24

She's a pavement special. All black. She would look fab in those pyjamas!

I love that idea coco! Picture on profile of puppy.

OP posts:
MatersMate · 01/06/2013 12:28

Oh she's gorgeous!! (please don't dress her up!)

Whoknowswhocares · 01/06/2013 12:32

Puppy infinitely more beautiful without vile dressing up gear.
Might buy it on principle though just because no one is entitled to allow or disallow me a purchase.

gobbledegook1 · 01/06/2013 12:32

YABU! I agree with your husband!

LadyBeagleEyes · 01/06/2013 12:32

I'm not keen on the tutu but I love the pyjamas.
I wish I could dress my dog up but as an overweight beagle cross he just wouldn't be able to pass it off Sad

cozietoesie · 01/06/2013 12:32

Gorgeous. But with that colouring she needs diamante or sequins. Like \link{http://www.petsathome.com/shop/diamonte-trim-pink-jumper-with-bow-medium-110295\this}

wonderingsoul · 01/06/2013 12:37

scarletforya · 01/06/2013 12:37

Dog clothes are nasty! YABU!

LegoAcupuncture · 01/06/2013 12:40

She already has a pink blingy collar.

Don't worry, won't be dressing her up except for Halloween

OP posts:
StuntGirl · 01/06/2013 13:40

When we get our dog I am most looking forward to dressing him up in a t-rex costume. For Halloween only, to be fair.

MrsMelons · 01/06/2013 15:41

I think she would look beautiful in a tutu!!! I have 2 boys so maybe I need a puppy to dress up like a princess Grin

Cozie - the pink fluffy dressing gown is really funny!!

BrokenBanana · 01/06/2013 16:21

Aww she's so cute! She'd look great in a tutu, ignore everyone else.

this is my favourite ever picture of a puppy, had to share!

LadyBeagleEyes · 01/06/2013 16:23

OMG that puppy in a onsie.
I'm overcome with the cuteness.

BrokenBanana · 01/06/2013 16:40

And here's another. I squee every time I see them Grin

MrsMelons · 01/06/2013 16:54

ExitPursuedByABear · 01/06/2013 16:59

SarahStratton's LittleDog was surely the best dressed dog on Mumsnet.
