AIBU to think some people should think before they bid on eBay?

I am really annoyed. People bid on an item that I am selling on ebay, just to cancel the bid later with the reason wrong amount entered. Yes, I get it if you bid with a zero or two too much but bidding £2 over the last bid is not entering the wrong amount, but the minimum that ebay requires.

Away I am so angry....

That seems really unfair. I always thought that once you placed a bid, that was it.

YANBU, that is crap and they shouldn't be allowed to withdraw in those circumstances.

I'm guilty of bidding too much on things, but usually I just cross my fingers and pray someone outbids me. Grin

It drives me nuts too. I've actually bought items I later didn't want because I bid and won. I put up some stuff a while back that was related to a football team, I had bids retracted 4 days later when the team lost. [Angry]

Nothing constructive to say here. Sorry
