AIBU?

To think some people are really sad?

Joined a local cloth nappy group of Facebook for buying & selling. So many posts of their nappy collections ("stash shots!), close-ups of them in use (from the outside, thankfully).
I mean, really?? Nothing more entertaining to do? I agree pretty ones canlook cute, I just can't see any circumstances in which I'd feel compelled to post photos online.
Maybe I'm being unkind.
DOI am also very boring

Well, every person has their interests and they won't all be the same interests, iykwim? I am sure if you listed your interests here, one of us would find it boring. If I listed mine, loads of people would find it boring.
But a non interest in someone else's interest does not entitle me to call them 'sad'.

World would be a boring place if we were all the same. :)

Well you joined their group and now you are calling them sad for discussing nappies?

I cloth nappy my DD and I have posted pictures of her in them, mostly to show my Nan who terry toweled all of her children and to show others who where were interested in them what they were like.

Everyone has their own interests, personally I think it's incredibly sad to come on a site and laugh about someone else's. Each to their own.

I joined to buy & sell, I was surprised to see piles of laundry being "liked"!

Sigh. I'm a horrible person who mocks others online in pursuit of a little light-hearted banter owing to being both bored and boring

Wrong place for that OP.

Find me on Facebook. I post picture of pans and can cope well with a little lighthearted piss-taking about it. Grin

I don't know if I would call them sad but I don't think it's very wise to post a picture of your child in a nappy on a group on fb. Chances are you don't know these people from Adam!
