I'm setting up on my own (insurance type business very industry specific)..anyway I haven't set up a company yet as I'm in the very early stages, however I'm talking to a potential client and need to give an e mail address.

I need to give an e mail address that is not hotmail or something really unprofessional sounding, what is the best way to go???

I'm going to be a consultant stilldazedassociates@... but what is the most professional sounding addess without setting up a website.

sorry this totally doesn't belong in aibu but I need help quickly!!!

Nothing is professional unless it's the name of a company.

You can register a domain name and get an email address without having a website.

You can have personalised email without a website, google Fasthosts.

gmail would be acceptable imo.

also... check out mail.com - i have an address with them that is a specific ending.

I always stay well clear of anyone who claims to be in business using gmail. Setting up a domain name is low cost and worth it.

I use gmail but am more a freelancer than a real businessy person!
