Just spoken to my Ex and he has taken my 4 yo DD out in the car to a place 20mins away, and hasn't put her in her car seat.

I'm furious, am I over reacting?

I wouldn't be impressed either. As her dad he should have everything he needs for when she visits. Even if that means taking your car seat. Laziness IMO

I have the car seat at my house, but i'm a 2min walk from his house, and would have taken it up. I called him to ask him if he wanted it and he was already in the car driving (friend driving not him). I said I couldn't believe he hadn't come and got it, and he said it was a non issue

Id be livid. Beyond livid. I'm obsessive about car seats since having an accident with DS in car, in which he would have definitely died had he not been strapped in a proper car seat.

Actually, car seats for a 4 year old aren't particularly expensive, he needs to go out and buy one so he doesn't have to rely on you for it.

You can get a booster for a fiver. There is no excuse for a 4yo's father not to possess a car seat.
