It hurt. AIBU to expect some sympathy from DH? I was just checking on DS. He was fine. I started down the stairs and I slipped. Owwwwwww. My back aches like fuck. DH thinks I was being careless as I had a glass of wine earlier (as did he). Owwwww. It was an accident pure and simple. I hurt. Nothing to do with wine. AIBU to resent the fact he thinks it's because I've had a glass of wine?

ouch. even if one wine did have something to do with it, sympathy should still be offered. drinking a glass of wine at home is not an unreasonble thing to do, especially as he did too!

make him go and check on the children next time.

Some folk try to find a reason for everything, ignore your dh accidents occur whether you are fully sober or not though more likely if you are bladdered obviously People slip, trip, it just happens. I have missed a step and landed on my face - and I dont drink!

I fell down the stairs 7 months pregnant with Ds2,foot slipped on top step slipped/rolled all way to bottom,crashed into babygate. Bashed my hip twisted my ankle and buggered my back, lay there crying for help as I couldnt get up. My now exh shouted at me for disturbing him and called me fat,clumsy and stupid .arsehole Oh and dint help me up,I had to unclip babygate and roll onto hall floor and pull myself up on banisters

Sympathies to you and a slap to your dh from someone who fell down the stairs and has spent the last three months recovering from a leg broken in three places. No wine involved (9 o'clock in the morning, which would have been pushing it even for me), but that's irrelevant.
