I had my ps2 remote for years but ive had to buy about 10 ps3 remote because they just keep breaking am I the only one this happens too.

Have you bought actual Sony remotes, or generic ones? We always found the generic ones were not good (and from friends' anecdotes). Having said that, it was only once on a PS2 that this happened. We have had no problems at all with the PS3 that we have had for a number of years.

I have tried all brands but they just keep breaking i do play alot though maybe I just wear them out.
