..should go and spit and the Osborne and Little Wallpaper and fabric in John Lewis tomorrow

It could be a terribly middle class demonstration, apart from the spitting

I might swear at it

That's the best idea I've heard in a long time!
Genius! Grin

We don't have a JL in Derby sadly. But I would if we did Grin

[confused[ Whatever has JL done? (the nearest one is in Nottingham)

Hang on they sell political wallpaper? I'm confused.
I quite agree the state should not fund killers' lifestyles (well other than at her majesty's pleasure). But I suspect that's not what he meant.

You need to rethink your campaign, me thinks. Wink

Politicians are vile using this case as a benefit bashing tool.

They are clutching at anything to try and get their sick point across. Roll on the next general election.

I had no idea of the connection! I won't spit on it all but I won't buy it any more. Actually, we only have a bit of Osborne and little wall paper because of a generous allowance from an insurance claim but I am now feeling a little bit sick looking at it. I feel as if we've somehow unwittingly supported this government.

Ooh-just thought-we're doing building work in the Osborne and little room soon and will be redecorating. Anyone want to come over and spit on our wallpaper and write anti Osborne statements on all the flowers before we knock the wall down?

Me! Are you in the Midlands? I can bring cake and Prosecco!

Report

Molehillmountain · 04/04/2013 21:14

Alas no-but the campaign budget will fund travel, surely?

Report

ReturnOfEmeraldGreen · 04/04/2013 21:17

Well, let's see. If not, please could you write 'Fuck off Gideon' in v big letters for me? Thanks in advance Grin

Report

Molehillmountain · 04/04/2013 21:29

I might just write it now-a bit gutlessly on a bit that doesn't show and in small letters-but it's symbolic, yes? There must be several hundred flowers to write on on behalf of protesting mumsnetters!

Molehill :o I would love to join in. I can bring pork pie

There is a shop in Derby that sells Osborne & Little. I better not name them.

Report

HoHoHoNoYouDont · 05/04/2013 11:04

This is a great advert for them. I'd never heard of them before and have just looked at their website. They might actually make a sale from it!

John Lewis is a good company to work for and they treat their workers fairly. Best not to drag them into it.

I think I'd like to spit directly at the little cunt. Right in his face! Angry

Molehillmountain · 05/04/2013 15:10

Pork Pie and protest! Fab! I should mention now that I will (at least) do cheese and pineapple on sticks and a pavlova.

Report

ExcuseTypos · 05/04/2013 15:17

Maybe we could go and tear it a bit as I don't fancy spitting.

OR how about writing "Osborne is a massive cock" all over it?

Report

Owllady · 05/04/2013 15:20

yes we could draw penis' in dressmakers chalk on the fabrics
