Went to Thomas Land yesterday.

My kid was fine - loved it. But two little girls were terrified on the Bertie Bus ride and after just 1 circuit the operator stopped the ride and got them off!

As someone who still has nightmares about a childhood Waltzer ride when the evil operator just grinned and span us faster - I thought this was lovely. Restored my faith in humanity!

It's not really an Aibu tho i know.

Something similar happened to us at the Black Country museum. Younger DS insisted on going on the cakewalk with big brother but then panicked when it came to stepping off the moving floor and ended up in a sobbing heap in the middle of the walkway. The young man climbed in and carried him off, and gave him his token back plus a bonus token to go on something a bit less perilous

Aww that's ace. I really want to go there. Is it value for money?

We have a DS (nearly 4 and 102cm high) and went on 14 rides (plus 2 twice), the 4D cinema, the zoo, the dino trail, the playground and Thomas' exhibition.

It cost us 48 quid which i thought was a lot but now i think was quite good value.
