DS is 22mo and tonight for tea is having fish fingers, a handful of oven chips and vegetables(peas and broccoli). He has this maybe once in three weeks and normally eats pasta, lentils, all veg, roasts, risotto, pies etc.(basically what we eat).
AIBU to not cook something else for him? We're having pizza btw. Smile

Not at all! My 2 have just had the same. Everything in moderation...

Sirzy · 03/04/2013 17:47

Why would you cook something else for him? I have always fed 3 year old DS what I have, a few chips won't harm him!

you see this is why we need a button to report this sort of thing straight to social services.......or at least the daily mail

you bad bad mother

McNewPants2013 · 03/04/2013 17:49

It seem like a well balance diet a few chips with not be a problem

Bobyan · 03/04/2013 17:50

You don't shop at Asda do you?

SarahBumBarer · 03/04/2013 17:51

Why would this not be OK? It's potato - cooked in the oven right?

If this was AIBU to feed my 22 mo lentils - well that I could understand and my two year old would firmly tell you YABU.

I weaned my babies on chips and mushy peas and I'm an excellent mother.
