But surely if mn is defended as a place people can post anything - be it nasty/ sweary etc then people should be able to post awwwww if they like

I agree with you. It's awwwwful. Mind you, I also loathe grrrrr and arghhh and similar, but suspect it is me being grumpy.

I often think it must be so nice to live a life full of laughing out loud and awwwwwwwwing at cute things.
