To want to behead DP (warning-silly)

Today we chose a shiny, trendy new toilet seat. I was thrilled.

Fast forward to getting home, he removed old one, and now cannot seem to affix abovementioned shiny trendy one.

I feel totally let down.

He is frantically trying to screw it on now. He knows how upset I am.....

I believe the correct sanction here is to hang old loo seat round neck and parade him round town.

But he is trying, no?

Give him a break and try yourself!

I don't think you should behead him.

I bought two from IKEA
Upstairs one -fine. Looks lovely.
Downstairs one- there's no way to get access to the fastening. I think it must have been put on before the toilet was installed.

I'd have to partly behead mine like Nearly Headless Nick from Harry Potter.

Beheading= messy. Think of the splatter [bushock]

We had to get a handyman in to do ours after both DH and I tried and failed. A few times we thought we had done it but ended up with it sliding off when one or the other of us were on the toilet. I may have to name change now after admitting this.
