Two DDs (5 & 8) DD1 goes to school with childminder (effectively keeping space for DD2 when she starts school in August) DH reckons that the girls will be able to walk down together with no adult supervision, its a 10min walk with 1 road cross. So, who IBU? I think its a bit much responsibility for DD1, especially as DD2 can play up...any thoughts welcome and please tell me if I am being precious Blush

the ten minutes is the difference in getting into work with 10mins to spare of being 10mins late due to traffic jams Sad

CM specifically said that she could not have both children, she does walk them down.

Thanks for all the thoughts and suggestions Smile

No RedHelen...that would mean 20mins at a neighbours before the walk down and we arent close to.any neighbours to ask that of them, and most children in street are of the 10+ age group and walk alone, leaving later than we do Sad

I would ask the CM again or alternatively let the 8 year old walk by herself.
