We have a 15mo. DH works 8-4.30mon-fri.I work shifts so some days do 3-11pm, other days im at my desk at 7.15am.

If im on an early, im out of the house before dd wakes (though she stirrs at 5 for milk which I give then goes back over), so dh gets up with her. If im on a late, dh gets up with her then wakes me at 7.30 when he is ready to leave for work.

This week, DH is off, but I am not. I feel guilty that he is still getting up with dd, but I feel like I just dont get enough sleep around my shifts so see him being off as a benefit so I dont have to be up at 7.30 but can sleep til 8.30/9am on days when im in late.

He doesnt seem to mind, but maybe he is just keeping it to himself. Fwiw, we usually take turns.on a weekend and one of us get up early each day, however I usually feel guilty at lying in much
When its my day for the early, I get up.of course, but go back to bed for a snooze when dd does.

Erm maybe ask HIM if YABU instead of us?

As you say he seems ok rather than he says he's ok so I'm guessing you haven't.

Ask him and if he's ok with it - hurrah. If he's not, find a compromise where you both get extra sleep.

But he is the only person who can say if he feels YABU.
