It's snowing. I offered months ago to take and fetch my dd and 5 friends to see one direction at the NEC tonight.

AIBU to wish that Nile, Harry and the rest get a dose of flu/stomach upset.. (Mild)but they have to cancel the concert and I can dig in by the fire, open the wine and chill..

YANBU.

Although I'd go back a step and wish that One Direction had never been invented in the first place. Them and the X Factor.

Tell DD they've split. I did that to my friend's DD the other week on Facebook when she wrote how excited she was about going to see them. I said 'it's all over the internet!'. Silence while she went off to check...

It was hilarious! Friend's daughter is 13 and she added me on Facebook because her friend list was at 666 and she was worried about the number. I wind her up all the time. Recently she wrote 'Happy Birthday to my baby, Justin Beiber' and I responded 'yes, and let's hope he has a Happy Deathday very soon'!

God, there are 1D things everywhere! DD is 11 and every time a birthday comes up I'm packed off to buy charm bracelets/necklaces/ceremonial bird baths for presents.
