Some of you may remember that I started a thread just before Christmas about my DH trying to get a flight home form the hot and sandy place and surprise our two children?? He made it home Grin

Well after six and half months...we are hoping he gets home on weds/ thursday next week. In time for Good Friday!!! I am now at the end of this long long time and I need him home.

I am so EXCITED!!!! It has been so long and the children will be so happy to have their daddy home.
Keep your fingers crossed that his flight makes it on Wednesday Thanks

I was on your Christmas thread, when dh was also out there (he was on a short tour with no r'n'r). He is back for good now. Had to be flown back short notice for compassionate reasons.

Crossing fingers for you

hopefloats · 23/03/2013 15:56

Is it really six and a half months since Christmas? How time flies Confused

MrsBW · 23/03/2013 16:04

I would imagine, hopefloats, that the OP's husband came home at Christmas for two weeks R and R, part way through a tour which has lasted six and a half months in total.

HTH

OP I know your excitement. Hope your hubby gets home ok.
