Ok, have heard people go on about him but never really watched him. Watching him on telly and can't believe how crass he is and all those folk laughing - maybe have had a sense of humour bypass but fuck, how offensive and unfunny. Would be ashamed to be caught in the audience laughing. There's edgy but he isn't even funny.

Wanda - I think his dad is still alive. I remember seeing a news article a while again about how he is estranged from his dad. I've managed to find this:

Bampot is right up there with Bawbag in my top 10 scottish sweary words.

FUD is top of my list, as in yer a fud it is an amazing swear word I got my English friend to say it she uses it all the time now

Bampot made it to Lincolnshire... My Mum regularly called me and my brother bampot and now calls my DD bampot lol.

Have to admit I always thought she was saying barmpot as in barmy, but have just realised that she IS saying bampot, but with my Grandad's Weegie accent. She was born in England, but has the odd touch of his accent. She rolls double r's as well.

Interesting to see that at 65 years old, 45 years after her Dad died (before I was born) and living in England all her life the accent she grew up with at home still tinges her words. It's lovely, and has made me quite nostalgic and awww.

Can't abide Jimmy bloody Carr though!

Alan Carr is about as funny as syphilis. Most 'humour' on tv is embarrassing crap for the herds who think that Miranda is hilarious (WTF?) or You've Been Framed is good entertainment. I hate it when I go to a house where people sit around the tv laughing their heads off at mindless rubbish - canned laughter is a most depressing sound.

Mind you most people like soaps as well so what do I know?
