Highlight of my morning some days.

I think he's lovely...

Those puppets can keep their felty hands off him!

Is he the guy who sings the song about pooing? Poor bloke!

Can you imagine him graduating to grown up tv then someone on some chat show dragging that one up to humiliate him?

AllTheWittyNamesAreGone · 22/03/2013 11:51

Where are the puppet parents that's what i want to know.

And also is he in a creme egg ad that's on tv?

ChairmanWow · 22/03/2013 11:54

YABU. He looks like he's made of plastic.

elliejjtiny · 22/03/2013 12:25

YABU. I can't stand him, his poo song or his hypochondriac puppets.

blondieminx · 22/03/2013 12:28

he's great and explains illness in a really toddler-accessible way. DD was very pleased with her doctor's kit at Christmas so she can practice like Dr Ranj. I didn't realise he was an actual real doctor though, he's on twitter @DrRanj....

MeSoFunny · 22/03/2013 12:51

YANBU sigh

DeskPlanner · 22/03/2013 12:58

Yuck. I always worry how many people on here fancy him, Mr.Bloom, Andy and the like. Your all wrong.

MeSoFunny · 22/03/2013 13:02

Andy is odd. Mr Bloom looks smelly. Alex is dweeby. Justin is... Justin.

Sid is heavenly

Dr Ranj is sweeeeet. If you ignore his mini stature.

KoalaFace · 22/03/2013 13:53

Mini stature? Ooooh no, I didn't realise he was titchy. I like trees. Big, tree like men Grin

I still think he's lovely though. I'm impressed that he's a real Dr and clearly doesn't take himself too seriously.

His verruca song does make me feel ill though!

Dr. Ranj is sweet but I miss Captain DJ - why don't they show Space Pirates anymore so I am insist the dcs watch it

rufusnine · 22/03/2013 14:13

Just can't cope with Dr Ranj's eyebrows !! Another thing - surely they could just get more puppets instead of making the ones they use have so.o.o many ailments and injuries!

KoalaFace · 22/03/2013 14:52

They are very addled puppets aren't they? Although my toddler likes recognising them so maybe that's why there are only a few...

Anyway that is irrelevant in my affections for the good doctor.

In fact I think children's TV should make a bigger effort in bringing "presenters for the mums". MeSoFunny - Sid and velvet trousers! Grin

YANBU at all he is rather tasty, and yes those felty little people can keep their felty hands off him

LazyMonkeyButler · 22/03/2013 15:00

He is rather easy on the eye isn't he? Far too short for me though, sadly Sad.

I also wonder where the puppets' parents are - how irresponsible are they to let their poor, sickly, often infectious offspring visit the Dr alone Shock. Maybe they are worried that Dr Ranj will sing at them again Sad.

Can't stand Nurse Morag and the "Healthy Helpers" though - the song sets my teeth on edge.

MarianForrester · 22/03/2013 15:02

Oh, nooo! You are being sooooo unreasonable. Aaaaargh, he and nurse Moran drive me demented, and he really looks like he loves himself.

BartletForTeamGB · 22/03/2013 15:08

Nurse Morag seems quite nice but her song is awful.

MarianForrester · 22/03/2013 15:22

Oops, Nurse Morag

ComposHat · 22/03/2013 15:25

Not half as much as when I go round to spend time with my mate and his son and Cerrie is on CBeebies. All three of us gaze lovingly at the screen.

ArtVandelay · 22/03/2013 15:27

Is nurse Morag a real nurse, like Dr Ranj is a real Dr?

I like Dr Ranj - I'd love him to sort me out if I had a broken arm or a sore throat but definatly nothing 'down there'. He is way too enthusiastic to be dealing with stuff like that.

YANBU :)

KoalaFace · 22/03/2013 15:34

ComposHat Cerrie's lovely isn't she? My little boy loves her. He's got a thing for blondes!

ArtVandelay Yeah nice for broken arm or sore eye. No way for anything 'intimate'!

MarianForrester · 22/03/2013 15:34

Yes, real nurse, and erstwhile actress in Scottish soap? I think.

Dcs made me google one day to see if they were real, and then if the bloody puppet thing was real...Smile

TheOrchardKeeper · 22/03/2013 15:45

The Dr will tell you what is good for you Wink

BarredfromhavingStella · 22/03/2013 15:54

YABU, yuk & his bloody programme used to be responsible for DD's daily ailments :-( I have now barred it-stupid idea for kids TV

ComposHat · 22/03/2013 15:57

Koola She's lovely, drifts into a daydream.

MotherOfNations · 22/03/2013 16:04

Yes she's a real nurse and also played a nurse in Glasgow set soap River City.
