To be jealous of my Cat

Its freezing out today and I have got to go out, the Cat in the meantime has gone back to bed and is warm and toasty under the duvet. AND one of the reasons I have to go out in the cold is I need to buy bloody CAT food.

They're just rude really aren't they?

Put the vac on when you get back.

YANBU.

I feel the same, and I'm bloody allergic too which is just salt in the wound.

freddiefrog · 18/03/2013 10:24

I've run out of tinned cat food and refuse to go out in the pissing rain to get more.

She has a bowl of biscuits and will have to wait until I go shopping later on

I can feel the disgust from here.

If she won't go out in the rain, why should I?

Pigsmummy · 18/03/2013 10:28

My cat suffers from "food blindness". I got up at 6am to feed him and now he was just hassling me for food and seemingly can't see the food in the bowl.

Sunnywithshowers · 18/03/2013 10:31

YANBU at all.

issey6cats · 18/03/2013 11:30

YouTheCat · 18/03/2013 11:33

My moggy is asleep next to the radiator, contemplating movement at about teatime.

I'm awake-ish. Doing odd jobs and contemplating putting my boots on and going to work.

Swine.

I made a mistake with my cat I told him I expected 'gratitude' and he thought I said attitude.

My cat is great at giving me "the look". It usually occurs when it is raining/snowing. She will look at me, look out of the window/door, then look at me again with an expression that seems to say "Well do something about it!" Hmm

I have been remiss in getting cat food, so they had to suffer with canned salmon this morning, poor babies.

weeblueberry · 18/03/2013 15:32

YANBU.

My cat pisses me off daily. Sometimes if he's woken me up particularly early I wait until he's asleep and gently prod him til he's awake. Then I stop and when he goes back to sleep I do it again.

It makes me feel much better about the whole situation frankly.

AbyCat · 18/03/2013 15:50

My cat is at work with me today (builders in at home, new house so we don't want to take a chance on him getting out just yet) and he is being very vocal about having to get out of bed on a wet Monday to go to the office.
So far, he's sent some random emails by walking all over my keyboard, eaten my assistants smoked salmon sandwich, shouted at the birds outside and is now curled up in a pile of coats under the radiator. I wish I could work like that.
OP, YADNBU. I want to come back as a cat in my next life.
