I've NC'd for this, i could out myself otherwise.

Just wanted an opinion.

I have a friend who've i've known for 12 years, we are close, and i like her.

But lately, im getting rather annoyed with her.

We talk online sometimes, lately, if im not online, she'll call me to tell me to get online, or if im online and not reply right away.

Other night she rung me twice to whine about her internet not working. she does this all the time, and im at the point where i just dont answer the phone.

I've told her to not do it, as i think we'll talk when we talk, but she still does it.

Anyone think its a little weird?

Yes that would definitely annoy me, but I don't do online chats with friends at all. I prefer anonymous online stuff like this and stick to phone or most often face to face chats with friends and family.

We talk online because its cheaper, we see each a couple of times a month.

I would be annoyed if it was happening after I had asked her not to, yes.

Your friend calls you because she wants to talk to you and you are pissed off with her? ... >?

DeepRedBetty · 15/03/2013 18:57

Yes it would annoy me.

I've got a first sixty minutes free landline call package - that's what I use to chat to friends and family.

Often when I'm online it's because I'm working, which I'm theoretically doing now...

Loulybelle · 15/03/2013 18:59

Because its everyday, i dont really have alot to talk to her about, i dont lead a thrilling life, thats got endless things going on.

Any, i do admit she does have control freak tendencies, her and my other close friends nearly had a fight about such things.

Yes, if you don't really want to be at someone's constant beck and call during your evening down time, that would piss me off too.

YANBU.

Also she rings after half 9 sometimes, after DD has gone to bed, i've turned the ringer down, because you can hear it from upstairs. Sorry drop feeding now, gotta stop that.
