AIBU to start with the G&T's now?

Hard day. I really need it now. AIBU to start drinking G&T's now and not to stop until the bottle is empty?

No you are not being unreasonable!! Difficult day here too and I fancied gin, but it was gin or petrol, so I had to go with petrol :-) still got a bottle food wine tho! Pour away phosphene!

I am deliberately cooking something for dinner that requires a lot of wine, just so I can be all "oh well, if there's a bottle open I could just have one glass". (Am BFing or it would be a damned sight more than one glass after the afternoon I've had). I intend to utter these words in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1....

In my fridge I have 3/4 bottle of
Bombay Sapphire 1/2 bottle of Tanquery ; think that's the spelling) and a brand New bottle of Hendricks that was a Mother's Day pressie from DH.
I think I possibly have a Gin issue.
Now which to choose.... I have no cucumber so Hendricks is out. The Bombay Sapphire looks tempting. Have plenty of tonic, ice is in the fridge & I have a lime to slice.
I think I might even use one of my "nice" glasses.
Shall I pour one for you? I have olives & some kettle crisps.

I can offer some homemade --bought in Waitrose?- apple pie and custard.

I have no Gin but have a fridge full of prossecco which I am keen to open. I like cooking with red wine... sometimes I even put some in the food

I love g&t and hendricks really is my favourite, tastes great with or without cucumber.

My first bottle of Stella is slipping down a treat. It's been a VERY long week.

I'm half way through a glass of rose and I've only been home half an hour

Wandered off to feed the natives. No G or T , lemon finished, glad you could use them phosephene The choice now is a spiced rum or a nice red. Too early for the rum, think the red. Lovely. Cheers
