I have just found the milk I lovingly (ha) expressed to donate to the neonatal unit at our local maternity hospital - all 30 oz of it (not much, but, y'know, the thought was there) - in the pushchair, defrosted, where I had packed it to take in to the unit whilst at DS's (unrelated) appointment on the other side of the hospital today.

I am not sure whether to cry or make rice pudding :(

CURSES.

Do the fun science experiment where you put it in a bag with ice cubes and swing it really fast and get ICE CREAM. Everyone loves ice cream. And then cry.

YANBU though, I feel like crying when I spill just one or two oz having faffed for ages to get it.

Ach what a shame! It's precious stuff! Yanbu to cry! Have a wee cuppa and biscuit and good on you for being a milk donor anyway! Smile

Aw what a shame! Good on you for doing it though.

thanks - was just so annoyed at myself! Think I may have to try and give some to DS tomorrow when he's not aware of what I'm doing :o doubt DD will be impressed by a bottle if she can have the real thing though.
