DH said he and the kids would make breakfast.

So after I got up to DS at 5.45 I couldn't go back to sleep so read. DS got up at 6.30 and woke my mum up and his sister and then 15 minutes later DH asked what was going on!

Then he said I'll take them downstairs for a while before we bring you breakfast, it'll be at least an hour before we start it.

I said thank you but don't on my behalf as I"ve been awake an hour already.

So he then says but you can have a nap if you want!

Thing is I don't want, Normally I'm up by now. I've got too many things to do so that the kids can go to a party this afternoon and DH has clothes to go to work in tomorrow, kids have stuff for lunch boxes, Dinner is on the table tonight etc. Now it's 45 minutes later and I'm bored.

I can hear DH talking to the kids as they're all watching TV. I know I'm being unkind and the kids want to bring me breakfast in bed BUT we're all awake. They know I'm awake. I wouldn't mind so much if I could even hear the washing machine going or if DH would hang up the clothes that were in the washing machine but he won't and they'll need washing again if he leaves them too long.

Sorry had to let off steam. I know I'm being unreasonable but I only get one day at the weekend to spend with them and I'd like to be with them not shut in my room!

YANBU just get up.

Would it really be so bad if you got up and let them serve you a nice breakfast at the table?

I've just tried to get up and got DH frowning at me and the kids says go and have a nice sleep mummy!

DH would send them dressed as hobo's! Wouldn't bother to brush hair or wrap present etc.

He's the sort of man who likes it to be tidy but he won't tidy anything that is not his own! If there is only a small space on the kitchen worktop, that's all he'll use instead of clearing up and making the space bigger!

I just saw the table and between my mother and the kids it has stuff all across it. I'm not even sure what stuff but it looks like a hand bag has been emptied across it and homework/games etc.
