I went to visit dsis and dnephew (6) this afternoon. When I arrived dn turned to me and said Auntie Voldy, why haven't you brought Buster a Birthday present.

Apparently he had woken up this morning and announced to dsis that it was the dogs birthday. :o :o

Yes YABVU- especially as Buster would have 7 dogs years to a human year so (in theory) he'll have 7 birthday days a year.

And I'll bet you forgot all the other 'birthdays' too Grin

Did you at least make him a card and put a £5 note in it (to buy himself some Bonios or whatever he liked)?

WorraLiberty · 09/03/2013 22:18

You should be ashamed of yourself turning up empty handed Shock

I hope you let him dry hump your leg to make up for it?

I mean the dog - not your Nephew obviously....

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 09/03/2013 22:20

not your nephew obviously

Grin we even frown on this sort of behaviour in Darkest Romford

Lueji · 09/03/2013 22:30

Did you eat the cake and the food?
Did you turn up early too?

Shocking!

VoldemortsNipple · 09/03/2013 22:34

:o Apparently my mum knew it was Busters birthday as DN told her on Wednesday, when he announced he needed to make invitations for his party today.

Buster has also recently been working through a star chart because he told DN he wanted a pet. (after the request for another pet for DN was declined) He is a very demanding dog, he would probably turn his nose up at Pedigree Chum.

WorraLiberty · 09/03/2013 22:53

Oh that's right OP...try to turn this around onto your DN and poor old Buster Angry

The truth is if you cared, you'd put the effort in.

No doubt you enjoy the bell tickles when it suits you???

WorraLiberty · 09/03/2013 22:54

*belly

ShiftyFades · 09/03/2013 23:01

I was wondering about bell tickles... Wink

VoldemortsNipple · 09/03/2013 23:21

worra :o
I thorght Buster was 5 but apparently he was 7 today! I'm turning into one of those aunties who don't even know how old the dcs are Blush

Although I suppose I'm lucky. DN was going to a party last week. He said to dsis "where are we going?" She told him, Auntie Ps. "I thorght Auntie P was dead!" He answered Shock He had overheard dsis talking about a great aunt who had died :o

Anyway, Belly rubs aside, I still think DN and Buster should have known that I would need reminding of such an important event.
