I've watched it twice (first show and now final) and am rather surprised at the choreography and choice of actress to play her and the expanding bottom? Just for starters....

Glad I'm not alone. This actually quite bothered me from a feminist stand point too. It just seemed quite, well, badly handled and painful almost to watch.

I really don't think it was racist - Ms Minaj has apparently had butt implants to enlarge her derrière, so if anything it's a critique of body modification, and the dance was mocking the over-amplified cartoonified tits & arse video it was basin on.
The fact that the original artist is black doesn't mean it's racist.

Really? I sort of get ur remarks on body modification. I didn't know about her booty... However, surely if that's correct, she's augmenting the features considered beautiful in her culture? Dunno but can't say I'm comfortable with what I saw... Yet. Willing to discuss and learn tho! :)
